There are many Sunday morning, hour-long (or more) sermons that certainly lead people to believe that God is not only mad at them but hates them. It ought not to be that way. Click To Tweet Contrary to popular belief, the Lord God Almighty is not mad at you! Praise God for that, right?
He says so right in his word!
These are some of my favorite scriptures. They are extremely encouraging. These words squash what religion has taught. I LOVE that! If you want the truth, go straight to the source.
Isaiah 54: 8-10 tells us the clear truth! In verse 8 we find out that the Lord was, in fact mad, for just a bit. But something happened, more on that later.

Not only does he tell us that he’s not mad, but he makes a promise to never be mad again! And not just any promise. Remember back in Genesis when God promised Noah that he would never flood the earth again? He also gave a sign, along with that promise! God placed a rainbow in the sky. He says in Isaiah that this promise to not be mad at us holds the same weight as the promise to Noah! How exciting is that?!
A covenant of peace

His covenant of peace is not just any covenant! It is a blood covenant. To some that means nothing but to God, it means EVERYTHING. It is an everlasting covenant. A bond made with humanity by the blood of his only son, Jesus. This bond changed everything!
Jesus’s blood covers every born again believer. When God looks at us all he sees is Jesus’s blood. He sees it, and he remembers this covenant of peace.
Hallelujah! Thank God for that blood!
Have a doubly blessed day!
