Happy Earth Day! This year is the 50th anniversary of the holiday. To commemorate I thought I’d share with you some of my favorites. As well as some special Earth Day discounts! So without further ado, here are the 5 best eco-friendly products that I use and LOVE. And, of course, are super affordable. All of these environmentally friendly products are under $20!
1. E-cloth!
The first up on the list of 5 best eco-friendly products is e-cloth!
AMAZING!
I have to say though I was skeptical, to say the least. Past experience with microfiber cleaning cloths was not good. They never cleaned any better than a regular old washcloth. Plus they stuck to my hands! So incredibly annoying. Like nails on a chalkboard annoying.
It might have had something to do with the fact that they were cheap. Not economical, but CHEAP! Cheaply made. 🙁
You get what you pay for. Click To TweetI wish I had paid a little more and gone with e-cloth, to begin with!
e-cloth works with just water! Can you even believe that?? Read how all that science stuff works here. You can use cleaners with them if you’d like but why if you don’t need to? E-cloths are machine washable just make sure you don’t use fabric softener.
For Earth day e-cloth is offering 25% off select items!
To see just how well they work, check out my video on my Facebook page using the e-cloth window cloth for the first time on dog slobber!

2. Silicone bowl covers!
Have you seen these things yet? They are so great. As you can see, the smallest reusable silicone cover fits a small mason jar. The largest silicone bowl cover fits my instant pot!
No more plastic wrap.
Thank God because fumbling around with that ridiculous plastic wrap box was fixing to send me to the nuthouse. Click To TweetThose cute little tabs make it easy to put them on whatever you’re wanting to put them on. And the best part is, they’re dishwasher safe.
Click here to get them on Walmart.com! A 6 piece set for $12.95 ♥
Right now Walmart.com does not have any shipping delays due to coronavirus. You can get any non-essential items delivered fast!
3. Silicone Zip Bags From Grove Collaborative!
I have tried some of these green reusable food storage bags from the grocery store, as well as some I ordered from an Instagram ad. The reusable sandwich bags from the grocery store were incredibly hard to zip and most times would not stay closed.
The silicone bags/containers from the Instagram ad were a total BUST. I could not get them to work at all.
But these!
I have nothing negative to say about these silicone food storage bags! So I will tell you specifically what I love about them:
- Super cute pattern
- The silicone is thin so it is easy to work with. (If that makes sense)
- Lightweight.
- They are huge! (with the others I could hardly fit a sandwich)
- The zipper is exceptional!!!! Works every time and no fumbling around with it.
I guess the only minor thing is they can’t go in the dishwasher. However, I don’t mind because they clean up very easily!
By the way, if you haven’t tried Grove…you simply must! Grove sells all-natural cleaning and household products. Great prices, great products, and fast shipping!
Plus…if you use my special link you can get FREE STUFF!!
Click here to get a FREE 5-piece Mrs. Meyer’s Gift Set when you spend $20!

Might as well spend $20 on stuff you buy anyway and get a bunch of free stuff!
4. Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap!
Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap is a concentrated liquid soap. I’m sure you’ve heard of it if you’re interested in more natural cleaning and household products.
Best stuff ever.
I use Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap and Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds to make my own
This is a HUGE money saver for our family! You can find Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soaps pretty much anywhere these days.
- All-natural grocery stores
- Walmart.com
- Target
- Grove Collaborative
- Kroger
Amazon also has a variety of Dr. Bronner’s products to choose from!
5. Glass Spray Bottles!
Last but certainly not least on this list of 5 Best Eco-friendly Products, glass spray bottles. Using glass spray bottles for concentrated cleaners is a great way to reduce plastics in your home and of course less trash in the landfills.
Plus, don’t they look beautiful? This is my Homemade Glass Cleaner Recipe. ↑ I have to confess I have been using much less of this glass cleaner now that I have my e-cloths!
I hope you give some if not all of these affordable earth-friendly products a try! I love them all and I know you will too.
